Description: IKOTherm is a rigid polyisocyanurate foam
insulation designed for use in various roof systems, offering high thermal properties, dimensional stability, and lightweight handling.
Features & Benefits: IKOTherm is cost-effective, compatible with multiple roofing systems, and provides excellent compressive strength and thermal resistance. It complies with CAN/ULC S126M standards and meets both U.S. (ASTM C1289) and Canadian (CAN/ULC S704) product standards.
Installation Procedures: - BUR & Modified Bitumen Systems: Panels are fastened or adhered with hot asphalt, with overlayment boards recommended.
- Ballasted Single-Ply Systems: Panels are loosely laid with staggered joints.
- Fully Adhered Single-Ply System: Panels are securely fastened or adhered with hot asphalt.
- Mechanically Attached Single-Ply Systems: Panels are fastened with approved fasteners and plates.
Vapor Retarder: A vapor retarder may be necessary in high humidity environments, as IKOTherm alone is not a vapor retarder.
Warnings & Limitations: IKOTherm is flammable and should not be left exposed. It should be stored properly to prevent damage.
Environmental Compliance: IKOTherm is manufactured HCFC-free and exceeds EPA timelines for HCFC elimination.
Test Results: IKOTherm meets various ASTM and CAN/ULC standards for thermal performance, compressive strength, and other properties.
Specifications and Standards: IKOTherm complies with standards such as ASTM E 96, ASTM D 2842, CAN/ULC S704, and ASTM C1289.
Product Specifications: IKOTherm is not suitable for exposed or inverted roofs and can withstand temperatures from -73˚C to 121˚C.
Thermal Values: Detailed R-values and thickness specifications are provided, indicating long-term thermal resistance.
Product Variations: Various thicknesses and R-values are available, with additional options upon request.
