Product catalog summary
Product Overview
IKO Millennium Adhesive is a highly elastomeric, solvent-free, foamable adhesive designed for bonding approved roof insulations to various substrates, including structural roof decks, base sheets, and smooth or prepared gravel surfaces. It eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners, reducing potential damage to the roof deck and extending service life.

Approved Insulations and Substrates
For a complete list of approved substrates and insulation types, contact the technical department. The adhesive is compatible with various materials such as HD wood fiber, isocyanurate, perlite, polystyrene, gypsum cover board, asphaltic cover boards, DensDeck, concrete, gypsum, cementitious wood fiber, lightweight insulating concrete, wood or steel, modified bitumen membranes, and smooth or gravel surface built-up roofs.

Safety and Limitations
Consult the product label and MSDS for health and safety precautions. Do not apply to wet or damp surfaces, and avoid using with insulation boards larger than 4’ x 4’. Ensure all boards lay flat on the roof surface.

Application Procedure
1. Remove the snap-off tip at the mixing head using utility pliers.
2. Attach a mixing nozzle to the threaded mixing head.
3. Place the cartridge into the applicator.
4. Apply adhesive directly to the substrate in a ribbon pattern, ensuring proper coverage and immediate placement of insulation boards.
5. Unused material can be stored for later use with new mixing nozzles.

Features and Benefits
The adhesive is ready to use, requires no mixing, and reduces labor costs. It cures rapidly, has no temperature restrictions, and is suitable for all climates. The solvent-free, VOC-free, non-flammable formula remains flexible and absorbs stresses, accommodating minor surface irregularities and minimizing deck penetrations and corrosion.

Surface Preparation
Ensure all work surfaces are clean, dry, and free of contaminants. For applications over existing weathered asphalt or coal tar pitch BUR, apply an approved IKO Primer before using the adhesive.

Accessories and Storage
Various applicators are available for ease of use. Store the adhesive between 65°F-85°F (18°C-29°C) and avoid direct sunlight or temperatures above 90°F (32°C).

Packaging and Coverage
The adhesive is available in 1.5-liter cartridges, with coverage of 600 sq ft per case based on a specific application pattern.
