The TORCHE-MDR® Beacon is a robust, square-section beacon made from high-quality Iroko wood and steel, designed for pedestrian walkways, natural areas, parks, and gardens. It stands at 0.98 meters in height and features a structure made of galvanized and stainless steel, oven-lacquered for enhanced protection and appearance. The steel quality is S-235-JR or higher, compliant with UNE-EN-10025 standards, and is hot-dip galvanized for resistance against rust, humidity, and corrosion.

Materials and Construction:
The main body is constructed from Iroko wood, known for its hardness and resistance, making it suitable for outdoor applications. The wood is laminated, dovetailed, and internally reinforced, with a protective coating for high durability. It features self-cleaning technology to minimize dirt accumulation.

Diffuser and Lighting:
The beacon includes a PMMA diffuser, which offers excellent light transmission and brightness, is lightweight, and highly resistant to impact. It maintains transparency for up to 30 years without yellowing and is fully recyclable. The diffuser is designed with beads for optimal light diffusion and transmittance.

LED Technology:
The beacon uses Philips Lumileds Luxeon 3090 LEDs, with a power capacity of up to 23W, a color temperature of 3000K, and a CRI greater than 90. It provides a luminous flux of 3542 lm and is powered by a constant current driver with IP67 protection.

Additional Features:
The beacon is equipped with an earth connection and space for a Claved type junction box, eliminating the need for additional manholes. It is available in other dimensions, power ratings, and finishes upon request.
