HYDROWET 7 PRIOR TO DELIVERY • Ensure the plumbing contractor has prepared for installation in accordance with the manufacturer’s preparatory guidelines. Check the width and height of the entry point, doorways and hallways the equipment must pass through to reach final location – as the equipment will usually be un-packed for carry through, use Equipment Dimensions listed below and not the Case Dimensions. DIMENSIONS OF PACKING CASE AND EQUIPMENT HydroCo Hydrotherapy systems undergo stringent quality assurance checks prior to packing and shipping. The equipment is shipped in large commercial grade wooden cases. For delivery, a lift gate truck is required. It is recommended that an “inside delivery service” be arranged with the freight company at time of booking. Ensure all packing material is thoroughly checked to avoid any losses. It is advisable to have between 2-3 persons available to carry the equipment to its final location. The equipment is generally best unpacked outside the building as there is often more room to do so. A cordless electric screwdriver (Phillips Head) and strapping cutters are required for opening the case. Use work gloves to protect hands during movement of equipment and have several heavy, thick blankets to rest equipment down onto during handling. An installation and user guide is supplied with the equipment. The plumbing and electrical work performed must be in accordance with local and national codes, and must be tested upon completion of installation in accordance with the installation guide provided. CORRECT USE OF HYDROCO EQUIPMENT • • Staff training is important to ensure the equipment is used to its full potential.
