HYDRORAIN 7

HYDRORAIN 7

Product catalog summary
General Description
The Hydrorain 7 is a wall-mounted Vichy shower system featuring a control cabinet with a thermostatic water temperature mixing valve, flow controls, a hand shower, and a stainless steel swing-away rainbar with a face-shield. It is designed to be used over a Hydrowet treatment table or similar setup.
Requirements
  • Hot and Cold Water Supply: The system requires 19mm (3/4 inch) hot and cold supply lines exiting the wall as per the provided plan. The control cabinet, weighing 33 lbs (15 kg), should be mounted on the wall over the incoming water lines, connecting to 19mm male unions inside the cabinet. The rainbar, also weighing 33 lbs (15 kg), connects to the cabinet via a flexible 19mm hose. It is crucial to purge water lines of debris before final connection, and it is recommended to install 19mm true-flow in-line serviceable water strainers.
  • Water Drainage: The treatment table should have a 50mm (2 inch) drain. If the table is height adjustable, a telescopic or flexible drain line is necessary. An additional 50mm floor drain is required in the installation room to handle floor drainage and potential flooding.
  • Operating Pressure: The system operates between 43.5 PSI and 145 PSI, with an optimal performance range of 60-70 PSI.
  • Water Consumption: The system uses approximately 200 gallons (800 liters) of water per 20-minute treatment, with 100 gallons (400 liters) being hot water. The hot water supply should be adequate for the expected number of daily treatments. Specific treatments may be designed to reduce water consumption.
