Features
General Features: The module offers an all-in-one object-oriented solution for 3D-CAD/CAM, integrating architecture to CNC. It is an open and scalable CAD system through AutoCAD® and AutoCAD Architecture®. It supports a single intelligent 3D model for any timber construction, ensuring seamless data flow from architectural design to production planning. Advanced editing capabilities are available for individual objects like beams, sheets, and metal parts. Panels are fully integrated into AutoCAD Architecture's display configuration, with user-definable panel styles.
Architecture: Provides tools for floorplan and building design, including architectural stairs and dimensioning, high-end visualization, and photorealistic images. It includes an extensive library for architectural design.
Production Planning: Integrates with architectural design or allows design of wall elements using hsbFunctionality. Offers user-defined layouts for wall-element representation.
Tools and Database: Refer to hsbTIMBER for detailed information.
Output: Generates fully automatic, configurable shop drawings and layouts for floorplans and element drawings. Includes editable element drawings with automated dimensioning, clash detection for timbers and tooling, and user-defined bills of material based on Microsoft Excel. Optional CNC data output is available.
Data-Format: Outputs element data in an ASCII format containing comprehensive information about a panelized element.
Further Notes: Compatible with dynamic macros written in hsbTSL and offers optional export of 3D models to RSTAB for structural analysis. Compatible with hsbTIMBER, hsbELEMENT, hsbWALL, hsbLOG, and hsbBSH.
