DESIGN BY MORTEN NIKOLAJSEN 2012 MANHATTAN Manhattan is a multifunctional and modular soft seating concept. The untraditional pentagonal shape is harmonious, inspiring, and simple at the same time thus making the right conditions for playful and creative environments. The pentagonal modules allow for endless configurations, and the three different back heights only increase the functionality of a concept free from restrictions. Combine the modules in multiple ways and dressed it up with different fabrics and colours. The unlimited possibilities challenge the creativity of the user as well as encourage to a playful and individual usage. Manhattan is applicable for both lounge and waiting areas as well as informal meetings and group work thus ideal for public, corporate, educational, and hospitality environments.
