Headquarters New York The Finn Juhl Chamber In 2011 the design duo Kasper Salto & Thomas Sigsgaard won a design competition under the auspices of the Danish Ministry of Culture, to design the furniture for one of the permanent chambers at the United Nations headquarters in New York, The Trusteeship Council Chamber. The same chamber was designed by Danish Architect Finn Juhl in 1951 as a gift from Denmark to the UN. The chamber has become one of the most important ambassadors for Danish design abroad, and in connection with the recent renovations of the entire UN complex on Manhattan, Denmark...

A Chair for all Nations Onecollection and Salto & Sigsgaard did it together... We negotiated, developed, manufactured, tested and delivered the furniture for The Trusteeship Council Chamber at the UN Headquarters in New York...on time and to everybody’s satisfaction... without a single error! At the same time, we have created an amazingly beautiful chair, which the rest of the world outside the UN now will have the opportunity to possess. We are now both proud and excited!
