The monitor features a sturdyhousing, and delivers sharp color images with 400 TV lines of resolution. The HMC14 is ideal for single camera viewing, or multiple camera displays whenusing a quad or multiplexer. Unlike conventional monitors, the HMC14 features convenient recessed frontpanel controls that make setup and adjustment quick and easy, while restrictingmovement caused by accidental contact. Installers can easily switch between NTSC and PAL video formats to comply with worldwide standards. An illuminatedgreen LED beside the power button confirms that power is being supplied to themonitor. The monitor also features a latching power switch which remains in itsset position Җ either on or off eliminating the need to turn the monitor back on inthe event of a power loss.The HMC14 has both composite BNC connectors and Y/C mini DIN connectorsfor S-video. Since the BNC connectors are auto terminating, there is no need for users to set termination switches when using the BNC connectors for loop-through video.The HMC14 has audio input and output connectors, allowing users to listen-in aswell as view the monitored area. This is especially convenient for secured entryareas. Honeywell Video֒s HMC14 can be either rack mounted using an optionalrack mount kit (HMC14RK1) or placed on a desktop.
