Aufgrund ihrer physikalischen und chemischen Eigenschaften sind sie für eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen prädestiniert: für technische und konstruktive genauso wie für dekorative. Metals have been a very basic and important material for mankind for many centuries. Owing to their physical and chemical properties they are predestined for many different applications – technical, constructive and also for decorative use. Für den dekorativen Einsatz der Metalle sind natürlich vornehmlich visuelle Aspekte wichtig. Die Farben, der individuelle Glanz und die Haptik von Metallen können in ihrer natürlichen Ausprägung nicht imitiert werden. Sie sind ausschlaggebend für die Wertigkeit von Metallen. HOMAPAL® verwendet dünn ausgewalzte Folien aus Aluminium, Messing, Kupfer und Edelstahl (1.4301/AISI 304), die mit verschiedenen Prägungen versehen auf einen harten HPL-Kern verpresst werden. Das spart wertvolle Ressourcen. Durch verschiedene zusätzliche Oberächenbearbeitungen, die bei ausgewählten Dekoren durch Handarbeit erfolgen, werden unterschiedlichste Wahrnehmungen der Werkstoffe kreiert und verleihen den Laminaten Attribute wie kühl, modern, sachlich, warm, wertvoll, rustikal etc. Unsere Metall-Laminate sind schwerentammbar nach den IMORegeln (IMO – International Maritime Organisation = Internationale Seeschifffahrts-Organisation der UN) und formaldehydfrei nach EN 717.

For decorative use of metals the visual aspect is most important. The colours, sheen, and iridescence of real metal cannot be imitated. These special characteristics are crucial for the signicance of metals. HOMAPAL® use thinly rolled foils of aluminium, brass, copper and stainless steel (1.4301/AISI 304) which are pressed with different embossings onto a hard HPL core.
