Product Overview: HOMAPAL® Metal Decors are decorative metal laminates featuring a thin aluminum layer protected by an epoxy coating. Processing and Application: Recommended adhesives include PVAC glue, two-component adhesives, and neoprene contact adhesives, excluding urea bonding adhesives. The laminate is suitable for indoor and vertical applications only, with limited use in damp environments. It can be sawn, drilled, or milled using carbide-tipped tools, and requires standard safety measures for dust and fire protection.

Care and Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth with mild cleaning agents. Avoid strongly alkaline, acidic, or abrasive cleaners. Consult HOMAPAL for alternative cleaning agents.

Storage and Conditioning: Store in a closed, moisture and UV-protected environment at 18-25°C and 50-60% relative humidity. Panels should be stored flat or at an incline with full support. Conditioning in the application environment is recommended for at least 48 hours.

Fire and Safety: HOMAPAL® laminates are flame-resistant, classified as B-s1-d0 under DIN EN 13501-1:2010-01, and have low flammability. They are difficult to ignite and delay flame spread. Incomplete combustion may produce toxic gases. Standard fire-fighting techniques apply.

Environmental and Health Aspects: The laminates are non-hazardous, inert, and safe for contact with food. They do not contain PCP and are not subject to REACH regulations. Formaldehyde emissions are significantly below regulatory limits.

Disposal: Laminates can be incinerated in approved facilities or disposed of in controlled landfills as "other hardened plastics."
