Flashings in industrial construction can overlap. Notch any return folds and folded edges on site. Seal overlapping joints with amino hardening sealants with a silicone base.
Standard flashings have internal dimensions unless specified otherwise. Cross-sectional tolerances are ± 2 mm for material thickness up to 2 mm. Load-bearing flashings are made from at least S280GD, with thickness tolerances per DIN EN 10 143.
