toro Designed by Robin Day for Hille. Toro is the high performance beam seating for public and transport applications. Manufactured for severe contact use with safety, strength and comfort in mind, the seating units are specified worldwide for hospitals, airports, stations and shopping centres. Toro has also been selected for London’s Overground network. The Transport for London version of Toro for London Overground features high visibility arms, stainless steel end caps with the upper displaying the TFL logo and a priority seating sign fixed to one seating position per beam. Available for both indoor and outdoor use, the perforated steel seats facilitate water drainage for outdoor use, whilst for indoor projects the seats can be specified with optional upholstery.
