Panel Easy Cub 5GR is a prelacquered steel sandwich panel designed for inclined roofing applications without cover strips. It features prelacquered steel on both exterior and interior faces, with a useful width of 1000 mm.

Geometric and Structural Features

The panel is designed for roofs with a minimum slope of 7%. It uses a visible screw fastening system located on the overlap of two adjacent panels, secured with a self-drilling screw and a steel EPDM-coated cap piece ensuring complete waterproofing.

Transversal overlaps without cover strips are available for long roof runs where panel size is insufficient. These overlaps have a minimum length of 200 mm and require a supporting purlin at least 100 mm wide. The roof slope for these overlaps must be greater than 10%.

Load Resistance Tables

Service load capacities (uniformly distributed) are provided for various panel thicknesses and steel sheet thicknesses (0.4/0.4 mm and 0.5/0.5 mm), calculated according to EAE-2012 and EC-3 standards. These consider only the upper steel sheet as the structural element and comply with ultimate limit states for normal and shear stresses, as well as serviceability limits for deformation (L/200).

Tables specify allowable pressure and suction loads (kg/m²) for spans ranging from 0.8 m to 4.0 m over two spans.

Installation Recommendations

Minimum roof slope: 7% for standard panels, >10% for transversal overlaps.
Use of self-drilling screws and EPDM-coated caps for waterproof fastening.
