Product catalog summary
Product Data Sheet – PU 32 Glue
I. Chemical Base / Applications
PU 32 Glue is a single-component urethane prepolymer that polymerizes with air humidity. It contains 25-30% diphenylmethane diisocyanate and is designed for bonding flexible materials like rubber fibers, PU soft foams, and polystyrene. It can be applied to surfaces such as concrete, bitumen-coated materials, steel, and aluminum. Resistance tests are recommended for glazed surfaces.
II. Product Properties
The glue forms a heat-resistant polymerized film. It has a solids content of over 99%, a density of 1.125 g/cm³ at 20°C, and a viscosity of 4,000 cP. The glue is brown in color.
III. Hardening
Hardening begins at ambient temperature through a reaction with water vapor. Higher temperatures and humidity accelerate setting. The surface is usable 24 hours post-application, with total hardening in 3-5 days. Temperatures should not drop below 10°C during hardening.
IV. Recommendations for Use
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil or grease. The base should be insulated from humidity and be over four weeks old. Ideal conditions include a base temperature above 10°C and humidity below 4-5%. Apply glue to the raised underside surface and avoid wet bases to prevent foaming. Excess glue may become visible as it dries.
V. Consumption
Recommended usage is 400g per square meter. Avoid over-application.
VI. Precautions
Use personal protective equipment and maintain hygiene. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. Use gloves and protective glasses. Read the safety data sheet before use.
VII. Other Information
Packaging is available in 1-Kg cans. Store in a dry place at temperatures above 5°C, ideally between 15 and 25°C. The product remains stable for at least 3 months in original packaging. Use quickly once opened. Technical advice is provided without guarantee, and users are responsible for application.

PRODUCT DATA SHEET – PU 32 GLUE I. CHEMICAL BASE / APPLICATIONS Urethane prepolymer polymerizing with the humidity of the air. Diphenylmethane diisocyanate, isomers and equivalents 25-30% Single-component glue designed for sticking flexible materials such as: rubber fibres or granules (EPDM, SBR, BR, etc.), PU soft foams, expanded, extruded polystyrene. Gluing onto Concrete, Bitumen-coated material, Steel Plate, Aluminium For any glazed surface such as tiled floor, metal plate, aluminium, wood, make a resistance test before laying the rubber tiles and after sanding the surface II. PRODUCT PROPERTIES The polymerized film offers very good resistance to heat Solids content Viscosity at 20°C Brookfield RVT mobile n°3 / 10 t/min III. HARDENING The process starts at ambient temperature by a reaction with water vapour or with atmospheric humidity. A higher temperature and a high humidity rate shorten the setting time. The surface can generally be used 24 hours after laying. Total hardening time is between 3 and 5 days. During the hardening, the ground and air temperature should not fall below + 10°C. IV. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE The surface must be clean and dry, and free from any oil or grease. The base must be insulated from rising humidity and be more than four weeks old. Base: > 10°C and <4 to 5% humidity (carbide moisture tester). Ambient: > 10°C and <80% humidity. For information, the water content must be less than 3.5% at a depth of 10mm when checked with a Krüger 518 S-type tester and less than 4% at 20mm when checked with a Tramex-type tester. The glue must be applied onto the raised underside surface with the pourer (Cf. instruction sheet for laying) Do not apply to a wet base as the glue could foam significantly and fail to stick. Avoid soiling the surface of the tiles. The glue turns yellow as it dries. During the laying, the glue foams and seeps into the pores of the rubber conglomerate. Please note that if too much glue is applied, it will become visible as it dries. V. CONSUMPTION 400g for 1 sqm. Do not use too much glue. The quantities should be respected. Models, drawings and names are registered. No copy or reprography is permitted without prior written authorization.
