PRODUCT DATA SHEET – PA 63 ACRYLIC PAINT I. DESCRIPTION The PA 63 Acrylic paint is a coloured coating with a high acrylic binder content especially designed to colour sport-grounds as well as playgrounds. II. QUALITIES The PA 63 Acrylic paint was designed to regenerate grounds’ final coating. It gives them a uniform colour and reinforces their resistance to abrasion and bad weather. The PA 63 Acrylic paint is also frequently used to colour rubber floors, asphalt, bitumen-coated material, concrete guardrail and porous concrete. This paint is a reinforced finish with high quality pigments enabling the surfaces to be non-slippery and increase their resistance to wear. III. PRODUCT PROPERTIES Colours: light green, dark green, brick red, red, dark blue, light blue, grey, white, beige, brown. Binder: acrylic copolymer Dry solids: weight according to NF EN ISO 3251: 60.1 ± 2% calculated volume: 43.9 ± 2% Density according to NF EN ISO 2811-1: 1.38 kg/dm3 ± 0.1 Viscosity according to NF T 30-029: Brookfield RVT, rotor n°6, 10 t/mn: 30 Pa.s ± 5. Thinner: water Drying time: Print-free / recoatable according to NF EN ISO 3678: 8 h Ready for use: 1 week IV. CAUTION GUIDELINES Ambient temperature above 10°C. Do not apply: - At an ambient temperature below 10°C and at a relative humidity rate above 80% - If the surface temperature is below 10°C or above 60°C. - By rainy or foggy weather - If the substrate contains more than 3% of water in weight. Before PA 63 Acrylic paint application, check that the tiles are properly glued together, or to the ground in order to form a uniform surface. V. APPLICATION GUIDELINES Tools: airless spray gun with a 28/1000 inch nozzle, brush, roller. On porous surfaces, do not use a roller but an airless spray gun to avoid excessive consumption. - Quantities : 2 coats: - 1st coat: 100 kg of PA 63 Acrylic paint, 20L water - 2nd coat: 100 kg of PA 63 Acrylic paint, 10L water Coverage per coat on surfaces that were suitably prepared - 300g/ m² per coat VI.
