PRODUCT DATA SHEET – HEXDALLE® DICE I. CHARACTERISTICS The HEXDALLE® DICE is made of recycled black rubber aggregate which has been sorted and graded, bound by volume-dyed polyurethane elastomer resin. Other processed chemical elements are used in the composition of our dice for solidity and elasticity. II. COLOURS Red – Green – Black – Grey with beige flecked with red EPDM dots III. DIMENSIONS 460 x 460 x 460 mm (Tolerance +/- 1 % at 20 °C) Weight: approximately 76 Kg IV. USE The HEXDALLE® DICE is entirely made of rubber and can be used in various ways: as a seat, an educational item, an “interactive” tool that can be used by a teacher to teach children how to count. The dice can also be included in fitness trails, obstacle courses, or play systems – children can sit and play leapfrog and even develop their sense of balance. It can also be used just for decoration. This dice will be an attractive asset for your playground. HEXDALLE® DICE complies with the NF EN 1176-1 (Oct 2008) standard. V. SURFACE ASPECT The item has a granular surface aspect due to its composition. VII. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS It is accepted that children should be supervised at all times. The equipment must not be installed on a too sloping ground. Type of ground: it must be flat or with a 1% slope Clearance: there should be no obstacle less than 2 meters above the equipment (tree branch, etc.) VIII. CLEANING/MAINTENANCE Use our Cleandalle FC bactericidal degreasing cleaning product. The green colour is more sensitive to U.V. than the red colour. HEXDALLE® DICE can be renewed thanks to our special PU63 or PA63 non-slip paint. The paint should be applied by a professional, using an airless spray gun. Models, drawings and names are registered. No copy or reprography is permitted without prior written authorization. This manual was reviewed in August 2012 and may be updated; please make sure this is the latest version. Each month: • check that the playground is clean • check the dice surface condition • check the dice stability If severe damage is noticed which could threaten children’s safety, action must be taken immediately. If the problem cannot be solved, the equipment should be immobilised or removed to prevent its use.
