HEWALEX MEMBRANE VESSEL ASSEMBLY MVA

Product catalog summary
Membrane Vessel Assembly (MVA)
1. Table of Elements
  • Membrane Vessel: 1 unit
  • Membrane Vessel Hose and Gaskets: 1 set
  • Vessel Bracket with Band: 1 set
2. Function

The membrane vessel is designed to compensate for cubic expansion due to temperature changes in a closed hydraulic circulation system. In solar circulation systems, it accommodates liquid displaced by steam during emergency boiling situations.

3. Assembling

The vessel's connection position should be chosen based on available wall space near the existing control and pump assembly. It should be mounted to a stub pipe of a three-way union with a safety valve, after removing the plug.

  1. Secure the membrane vessel bracket to the wall using clamping screws, near the selected stub pipe of the control and pump assembly.
  2. Install the membrane vessel into the mounted bracket.
  3. Connect the vessel to a pipe tee on the control and pump assembly using the hose.

HEWALEXMEMBRANE VESSEL ASSEMBLY MVA Fig. 2 1. Table of elements (Fig. 1) 2. Function The membrane vessel is suitable for use in compensation of cubic expansion connected with temperature changes of an agent in a closed hydraulic circulation system. In a solar circulation system, it is used to take the liquid displaced from collectors by steam produced in emergency situation when boiled. 3. Assembling (Fig. 2) Connecting position of the vessel is to be selected depending on the place being available on the wall near the control and pump assembly already installed. It has to be mounted to stub pipe of tree way union with safety valve(after removing the plug) Further assembling operations. 1. Screw a membrane vessel bracket (3) to the wall using clamping screws (4), close to the selected stub pipe of the control and pump assembly. 2. Mount the membrane vessel (1) in the previously mounted bracket. 3. Using the hose (2), connect vessel (1) with a pipe tee mounted on the control and pump assembly.
