OMNIGUARD AC is a waterbased, ready to use liquid made of state of the art polymer dispersions and nano corrosion inhibitors. This liquid is applied preferably with an airless paint spray device, or alternative with a long-haired (paint)roller or paintbrush. After application, OMNIGUARD AC dries to a peelable, temporary and flexible protective film for use on uncoated steel surfaces where anticorrosion properties are demanded. Suitable for inside and outside use. Remark: OMNIGUARD AC is a temporary coating with anti-corrosion properties. It can not be considered as anti-corrosion coating. It is recommended to perform a test according the exposure conditions and type of steel used. » UV and weather resistant; » Both for inside and outside use; Prior to starting the application: » Trial on a little visible area with a paintbrush; remove after 3 days and evaluate. » OMNIGUARD AC comes ready to use. Stirr OMNIGUARD AC for homogenisation; do not add solvents or water; » Substrate preparation: steel substrates must be free from grease, oil, rust, dust as well as other contaminations. In case of rust, the steel must be released from all corrosion, and treated with an corrosion inhibitor prior to application of OMNIGUARD AC. Application: » Requirements during application and drying time: T: > 5°C; only apply on a dry surface; do not apply during rain or when rain is expected within 24 hours after application. » Apply preferably with an airless paint spray device at 100-150bar pressure, with a spraytipopening of minimum 15”/inch, or alternative with a long-haired (paint)roller or paintbrush. Minimum coverage: 0,7 kg/m² (~700micron). Verify with a wet film gauge. » Pay attention to also achieve minimum coverage when using roller or paintbrush as application method, if needed in two layers with the second layer after drying but within 24 hours after application of the first layer. » Depending mainly on air movement/wind, temperature, and humidity the applied OMNIGUARD AC will be tack free within 0,5 to 8 hours after application; total drying time is between 4 and 48

hours during which the film may not come in contact with rain or any other form of water, nor with temperatures < 5°C. Increased coverage will result in increased drying times. » In case of inside application, allow ventilation; » Cleaning material: after use with cold water; » Avoid standing water on the dried OMNIGUARD AC protection film. » When the protection is no longer needed, OMNIGUARD AC film is removed manually, preferably within 6 months to max. a year (depending on the exposure).
