Product catalog summary
Functional Description:
The Helvar LC1x25-DA LED driver offers an adjustable constant current output ranging from 350 mA to 700 mA, programmable via Helvar driver configurator, DALI commands, or external resistors. It features hybrid dimming for high-quality light, switch-control functionality for easy intensity control, and adaptive LED overload protection. Additional features include full load recognition, open and short circuit protection, and a multipurpose terminal for current setting or over-temperature protection. The driver also supports Constant Light Output (CLO) and includes real-time power consumption monitoring.
Mains Characteristics:
The driver operates within a voltage range of 198 VAC to 264 VAC and can withstand up to 320 VAC for a maximum of one hour. It supports a DC range of 176 VDC to 280 VDC with a starting voltage of over 190 VDC. The mains current at full load is between 0.13 A and 0.14 A, with a frequency range of 0/50 Hz to 60 Hz. Standby power consumption is less than 0.45 W, and the total harmonic distortion (THD) at full power is under 17%.
Load Output:
The output current ranges from 350 mA to 700 mA with an accuracy of ±5% and a ripple of less than 2% at ≤120 Hz. The maximum abnormal output voltage is 60 V. The driver is designed for a maximum power output of 25.2 W and efficiency up to 86% at full load.
Operating Conditions and Characteristics:
The highest allowed tc point temperature is 75°C, with an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +50°C for independent use. The storage temperature range is -40°C to +80°C, and the maximum relative humidity is specified as no condensation. The driver has a lifetime of up to 100,000 hours at a tc of 65°C.
Dimming and Control:
The driver supports a dimming range of 1% to 100% using a hybrid dimming technique that combines Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and Constant Current Reduction (CCR). PWM dimming frequency is 800 Hz. The driver is compatible with various miniature circuit breakers, with Type C MCBs recommended for LED lighting.
Installation and Operation:
The driver is suitable for built-in use in luminaires and must comply with relevant standards and regulations. The installation site should ensure the tc point temperature does not exceed specified limits. The current setting can be adjusted using an external resistor, following the LEDset specification.
Lamp Failure Functionality:
The driver includes protections for no load, short circuit, overload, and underload conditions, with automatic recovery features.
Conformity and Standards:
The driver complies with various safety and performance standards, including EN 61347, EN 61000, EN 55015, and EN 62386. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, ENEC and CE marked, and suitable for emergency lighting applications.
