Automatic Battery Backup: Senses power failure and automatically switches the unit to battery operation, keeping you and your family warm. Battery Strength Indicator: IntelliSwitch200 - red led blinks to alert homeowner that new batteries are needed; solid- on indicator signifies that the hearth system is operating on battery power. IntelliFire Plus RC100 & 200 - red led blinks when button is pressed. Lack of red led light signifies that the batteries need changed. IntelliFire Plus RC300 - Displays a battery strength icon. Fan Speed: Adjusts the speed of the fan, pushing heat into the room. Flame: Adjusts the height of the flames, affecting ambiance and heat output. Pilot Activation: Changes the pilot from ‘as-needed’ (activated only when the fireplace is turned on) to ‘constant-on’ (seasonal pilot remains on to improve performance during the coldest times of the year). AUX Function: Controls assigned auxiliary functions, such as accent lighting or electric embers. Temp Readout: Communicates room temperature. Thermostat Mode: Maintains the specified room temperature by adjusting the hearth system much like a furnace thermostat. Timer Mode: Shuts flames off automatically at a pre-set time.
