Open the catalog to page 18MOULDED PLYWOOD TABLES The university requested several different types of tables: desks, meeting tables, dining tables and cafe tables. The Bouroullecs approached this challenge by imitating the COPENHAGUE chair’s bent seat in the tabletop used for the COPENHAGUE moulded Plywood Table, highlighting the kinship. The visual and aesthetic bend provided an additional benefit: a cable gutter for keeping cords and cables out of sight.
