Harlequin Studio Developed at the request of Rudolf Nureyev, Harlequin Studio is suitable for both classical ballet and contemporary dance. This multi-purpose dance floor has been used by the Paris National Opera for over 30 years. The floor is surprisingly smooth and soft thanks to its foam backing, which gives added comfort to dancers working on the floor or en pointe. Harlequin Studio is a smooth, extremely stable, hard wearing dance floor suitable for both loose lay or permanent installation as a top surface on one of our sprung dance floors. Made of ultra-tough vinyl, this floor is perfectly suited to the needs of dancers. Its special, complex vinyl construction is strengthened by a mineral fibre reinforcement and a firm yet flexible foam backing to give dancers extra protection and added comfort when doing floor work. Dancers will also find its slip-resistant surface reassuring when performing demanding choreography or difficult movements. Whether you are on tour or in the practice studio, Harlequin Studio is the ideal solution. It boasts exceptional dimensional stability and rolls out easily on any smooth, firm surface. Orders of 500m² or more can be produced in a colour of your choice.
