They comply with the requirements stipulated by the German Concrete Association (DBV, Deutscher Beton Verein) in its publication on rebending reinforcement bars and recess cases from January 2011. The over-lap lengths are calculated according to Eurocode 2. An approval certificate is therefore not required for the rebend connection. • case and cover are made of pre-galvanized steel to prevent corrosion • no plastic...
