MOVING FLOOR TECHNOLOGY A ‘Guncast Moving Floor’ uses the latest mechanical technology to raise and lower the floor. At any level, raised or lowered, the floor is designed to support a minimum of 51.2lbs/sq ft. (250kg/m2). This enables the swimming pool space to be used for functions, parties, and other activities. When the pool floor is lowered, the swimming pool can be used at different depth levels, with full depth swimming when the floor is fully retracted.

The moving floor is generally finished as per the pool surround, i.e. in tile or decking, to “hide” the pool. However it can be designed to suit any finish, e.g. glass or mosaic, to create an eye catching feature, and the options here are almost limitless. The latest air handling technology within the pool room provides the flexibility for the optimum ambient temperature when swimming or entertaining any number of people at any time of the year.
