Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist
Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist (1925-1997) was a Swedish modernist architect and designer known for her unique and humanistic design vision. She often collaborated with her husband, Erik Holmquist, and emphasized testing designs in their own home. Her work was characterized by a focus on creating furniture and textiles that were kind, gentle, and adaptable to their environment. Holmquist studied in England post-WWII, which influenced her style, and graduated from Konstfack in Sweden.

The Paradiset Collection (1956-57)
This collection was created for NK - Nordiska Kompaniet and includes pieces like the Eva and Adam armchairs, the Paradiset sofa, and the Fig Leaf footstool. The designs are noted for their soft simplicity, clean lines, and romantic air. The armchairs are fully upholstered with molded polyurethane foam and solid wood legs, while the sofa features a solid beech frame.

Mathieu Matégot
Mathieu Matégot (1910-2001) was a Hungarian designer and architect who settled in France. Known for his innovative techniques, he was the first to combine metal tubing with perforated sheet metal, a technique he patented. Matégot's designs are characterized by organic forms and a sense of joy, and he was a pioneer in applying new technologies to furniture design.

The Matégot Collection (1953-1956)
This collection includes the Nagasaki Chair & Stool, Dedal Shelf, Kangourou Table, Matégot Coatrack & Trolley, Demon Shelf System, and Copacabana Chair and Table. The designs feature tubular frames, perforated sheet metal, and lacquered steel. The Copacabana Chair and Table, for example, are available in black with a round seat and back made of perforated sheet metal.
