All carpets listed (Christian, Dianne, Emilio, Thierry, Tom, Yves) are Axminster carpets composed of 80% wool and 20% nylon. They have a design repeat width of 4 metres and a design scale of 1:10. The carpets have a pitch of 7 per inch, rows of 8 per inch, a finished pile height of 7mm, and a pile weight of 21153g/m² (34oz/y²). The width is 4 metres, and they comply with AS/ISO9239 specifications for flammability.
For commercial installations, the double bond or direct stick method is recommended, following AS/NZS 2455.1.2007 standards. A smooth edge is advised for the perimeter in double bond installations.
Carpets should be vacuumed 1-2 times weekly and steam cleaned every 12 to 18 months. Spills should be cleaned promptly.
There may be shade or pattern variations due to dyelot differences, but these will be within industry standards. Light can cause shading effects due to pile direction changes, which is cosmetic and does not affect performance. Patterned carpets may have some distortion due to the nature of textiles, requiring skilled installation for best results.
Carpets may fade over time with direct sunlight exposure and should be protected. Ozone damage, which can cause colour change, is more common in coastal areas with high UV content.

Installation We recommend the double bond or direct stick method for commercial installations. Designer Rugs carpet should be installed in accordance with AS/NZS 2455.1.2007 “Textile floor coverings – Installation practice – General”. We recommend smooth edge for the perimeter for double bond. Maintenance: All carpets should be vacuumed at least 1-2 times each week and steam cleaned by a Carpet cleaning professional every 12 to 18 months. Any spillages should be cleaned promptly.
