Artlantis 5

Product catalog summary
Interface
The Artlantis 5 interface has been redesigned to optimize display on wider screens, offering a larger preview size and a single clear window for ease of use. It features inspectors at the top, lists on the left, and a catalog at the bottom, reducing the number of clicks needed to access features. Users can filter lists to suit their preferences.

Perspectives
Artlantis 5 introduces new perspective features, including infinite ground with altitude and material for each viewpoint, and easier handling of background and foreground images. The Architect camera option provides real verticals for high vertical projects, and sectional cuts improve 2D view visibility.

Preview Controller
Shaders and textures can be easily manipulated in the preview or 2D window with a preview controller. Objects can be rotated, moved, resized, or duplicated with ease, and can snap onto edges.

Media
The media catalog is organized into categories and subcategories for quick selection. New shaders include relief mapping and non-repetitive tiling shaders. The InApp Media Store offers over 5,000 objects and shaders for purchase, with a media converter for previous versions.

Light
Lighting can be edited quickly with vertical guides, allowing for precise positioning in 3D space. Volumetric light effects are simulated with cones of light.

Heliodon
The manual heliodon is easier to set with adjustable zenith and azimuth angles. Volumetric light effects can be added in post-process and exported in PSD layers.

Animation (Artlantis Studio only)
The Timeline in Artlantis Studio 5 is optimized for precise control of animations, with magnetic guides for key frames and new high-definition 3D characters available for purchase.
