URSIL
UR SIL circular duct silencers are designed for installation between ducts to reduce noise. They are constructed with a Spiroduct outer layer and perforated sheet steel inside, filled with mineral wool for sound insulation. For enhanced noise reduction, multiple silencers can be installed in succession.
The silencers are available in various sizes, with lengths (L) of 600 mm or 900 mm, and diameters (ød) ranging from 100 mm to 800 mm. The outer diameter (øD) varies accordingly from 200 mm to 1000 mm.
The sound attenuation performance is measured across different frequencies (125 Hz to 8 kHz). For example, the UR SIL 100 model with a length of 600 mm provides attenuation of 8 dB at 125 Hz and up to 45 dB at 4 kHz. The performance improves with the 900 mm length, offering slightly higher attenuation across frequencies.
When selecting a silencer, consider the required noise reduction level and the available space for installation. The table provides detailed attenuation values for each model and size, aiding in the selection process based on specific frequency requirements.
