ENDURANCE® Exterior Latex Satin House Paint DX50XXN DESCRIPTION Our best 100% acrylic latex satin paint offers longer lasting beauty and durability while providing a pleasant satin sheen to your home. GLIDDEN ENDURANCE satin paint is ideal for vinyl or aluminum siding, wood surfaces, window frames and doors. May also be used over previously painted surfaces. May be applied at temperatures as low as 35°F which allows you to extend your painting season with confidence. SPECIFICATION DATA Color: White & custom colors Finish: Satin, 25-38 units @ 85º Clean-up Solvent: Soap & water Density: 10.49 lbs/gal (1.26 kg/L) VOC: 50 g/L (0.42 lbs/gal) maximum Fade and chalk resistant Provides a mildew resistant coating Excellent gloss retention Durable and tough Moisture resistant Excellent adhesion Resists blistering, peeling and flaking Easy application Low odor Quick drying and recoat Performance alternate for Federal Paint Specification TT-P-19D Titanium Dioxide and Extender Pigments Not manufactured with lead or mercury containing materials. SURFACE PREPARATION All surfaces must be sound, dry, clean and free of oil, grease, dirt, mildew, paint and other foreign substances. NEW SURFACES: Wood - Spot prime pine knots with an exterior acrylic primer. Prime entire surface with an exterior acrylic primer. Slight discoloration on staining woods is normal. If discoloration is considerable, apply an exterior solvent-based primer to bare wood for improved protection. Caulk with a high performance acrylic sealant.
