Description
TEX GLASS is a line of decorative laminated glassware that incorporates fabrics within the glass. The process involves washing extra-white SGG DIAMANT glass, applying an interlayer film, placing the selected fabric, and encapsulating it with another interlayer film and a second glass sheet. This assembly is autoclaved at high temperatures to ensure quality and UV protection, preserving fabric colors and appearance.

Applications
Suitable for interior use such as doors, partitions, flooring, balustrades, display windows, tables, desks, and bookshelves.

Advantages
The glassware features fabrics from Nya Nordiska's Nya Textiles collection, offering natural, earth-tone colors. The extra-clear SGG DIAMANT glass maintains the purity and refinement of the fabrics. The glassware provides varying levels of light filtering for privacy and well-being, with UV protection over 99%. Models with free borders are available for damp areas, and classical glazing with a frame is recommended.

Range
TEX GLASS can be manufactured in float glass (PLANILUX), hardened glass (PLANIDUR), or safety toughened glass (SECURIT). Borings up to 50 mm are possible for PLANIDUR or SECURIT. The glassware's borders are finished post-assembly, except for toughened glass.

Dimensions
Minimum dimensions are 200 mm x 300 mm, with larger formats available upon request. Tolerances for motif dimensions are +/- 2 mm for borders and +/- 3 mm/ml overall. Prototype production is recommended before full-scale production.

Thicknesses and Dimensions
Various thicknesses and dimensions are available, with tolerances of +/- 1 mm for thickness and +/- 2 mm for dimensions. Options include:

• TEX GLASS 44.4 diamond glass: 9.5 mm thickness, 1,400 x 2,000 mm
• TEX GLASS 55.4 diamond glass: 11.5 mm thickness, 1,400 x 2,500 mm
• TEX GLASS 66.4 diamond glass: 13.5 mm thickness, 1,400 x 3,000 mm
• TEX GLASS 88.4 diamond glass: 17.5 mm thickness, 1,400 x 3,500 mm
• TEX GLASS 10.10.4 diamond glass: 21.5 mm thickness, 1,400 x 4,000 mm
• Similar options are available for toughened or hardened glass.
