Description
SGG U-GLAS is a translucent cast glass with a 'U' shaped section. It is available in a reinforced version that includes a rustproof steel wire frame embedded within the glass.

Applications
SGG U-GLAS is highly rigid and self-supporting, suitable for installations at considerable heights. It is ideal for constructions requiring high lighting levels, such as offices, stairwells, factories, warehouses, garages, and hangars. The glass diffuses light due to its printed appearance. Reinforced versions can be used as single or double walls.

Range
The product is available in two versions: translucent glass and translucent glass reinforced with vertically arranged rustproof steel wires spaced 28mm apart. Standard dimensions are 232 x 60 mm or 262 x 40 mm. Non-standard measurements are available upon consultation.

Processing
SGG U-GLAS must be installed in compliance with safety standards and current regulations. It should be stored on its edge in a clean, dry place on a stable surface, with wooden interlayers if stacked.

Installation
Frames are provided for both 262 x 40 x 6 mm and 232 x 60 x 7 mm types, including PVC filling frames.

Performances

Thermal Performance: As a single wall, the U Coefficient is 5.5 W/(m2.K); as a double wall, it is 3.0 W/(m2.K).
Light Transmission: Approximately 75% for single walls and 60% for double walls.
