Overview
SGG PLANITHERM ONE T is a high-performance low-emissivity (low-E) glass designed for superior thermal insulation. It offers an optimal centre-pane U-value of 1.0 W/m2K, making it suitable for both residential and commercial applications.

Applications
This glass is ideal for new builds and renovations, including windows, skylights, patio doors, façades, and structural glazing. It is particularly effective in residential and light commercial settings using steel and aluminium frames.

Enhanced Thermal Insulation
SGG PLANITHERM ONE T significantly reduces heating requirements compared to standard glass, contributing to lower CO2 emissions and energy consumption. It meets current Building Regulations by improving whole window U-values.

Benefits
The glass must be processed into an insulating glass unit (IGU) with the coating inside the cavity. It is not suitable for single-glazing applications. For façade applications, the coating must be toughened if positioned on face 2.

Instructions for Use
Available in standard thicknesses of 4mm and 6mm, with other thicknesses upon request. It can be used in annealed or toughened form to meet safety standards (BS EN 12150). Laminated options include SGG STADIP, SGG STADIP PROTECT, and SGG STADIP SILENCE.

The glass helps eliminate cold areas around windows, reduces condensation, and has a neutral appearance. It maximizes natural daylight and enhances living and working spaces.

Technical Specifications
Manufactured using a magnetron coater, the glass features a unique combination of metal oxide layers applied to SGG PLANICLEAR clear float glass. It meets the durability requirements of class C of European Standard EN1096, with light and solar performance in accordance with EN410.

Performance Data
For double glazing units (DGU) and triple glazing units (TGU), the glass offers light transmission (LT) of 70% and 69% respectively, with a g-value of 0.55 and 0.54. The U-value is 1.0 W/m2K with 90% argon fill.
