Description
POINT XS is a glazing system using monolithic glass, either single sheet or laminated, with isolated blind fastenings. The system secures the glass with an expanding device within its thickness, avoiding penetration through the entire glass.

Applications
POINT XS is suitable for both internal and external uses, particularly for facades, wall coverings, street furniture, interior decor, and partitions.

Advantages

• Unobtrusive Attachments: The supporting surface is minimal, covering only one-tenth of the area compared to conventional systems.
• Blind Attachments: Eliminates marks from conventional attachments, maintaining a smooth appearance.

Range

• Basic Products: Available in ordinary clear glass (SGG PLANILUX), extra-clear glass (SGG DIAMANT), silkscreen printed glass (SGG EMALIT EVOLUTION), and acid matted glass (SGG SATINOVO MATE).
• Composition: Available as 10 and 12 mm monolithic SGG SECURIPOINT plate glass and STADIP-PT laminated safety glass.

Dimensions
Maximum dimensions are 1,700 mm x 2,500 mm, and minimum dimensions are 200 mm x 350 mm.

Performances

• Mechanical Strength: The heat-toughened SGG SECURIPOINT safety glass offers significant mechanical strength with a minimum surface compression resistance of 120 MPa.

Assembly
POINT XS glass undergoes heat treatment (HST) for enhanced mechanical strength and safety.

Installation
Installation uses blind attachments, with fixtures attached to masonry via metal pins or a wired framework. Sealing is achieved with HYDROSTOP joints, available with the POINT XS delivery.

Regulation
SGG SECURITPOINT complies with standard EN 12150, and SGG STADIP-PT meets standards EN 12543 and EN 14449.
