Product Description
EMALIT® EVOLUTION is an opaque coloured glass, produced by enamelling one side of the glass with lead-free enamels. These enamels do not contain dangerous heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury, or chromium VI. The enamel is fused to the glass at high temperatures, ensuring exceptional durability. This product is a toughened safety glass compliant with BS EN 12150 standards and can be heat-strengthened according to BS EN 1863 for specific applications.

Applications

Standard Colour Collection
EMALIT® EVOLUTION is available in 11 standard colours, including Polar White, Harmonic Bronze, and Graphite Grey. A CLASSIC EXTRA-WHITE option is available using SGG DIAMANT® extra clear glass. Bespoke colour matching services are also offered.

Production Information
Non-vision panels are designed for use with a back-up wall and should be viewed from the reflective side. Viewing from the reverse side reveals pinholes and non-uniformity, which is unacceptable. The product is not intended for applications without a back-up structure or with backlighting, which can reveal imperfections.

Colour Tolerances and Dimensions
Slight colour differences may occur due to the fusion of colour and glass, influenced by the glass's self-colour, thickness, and surface structure. These differences are not considered defects. Standard dimensions range from 200mm x 200mm to 1600mm x 2600mm, with larger sizes available on special order.

Lead Times
Single glass orders are fulfilled within 7 working days, and double glazed units within 10 working days.
