Vela is a pergola with a manually-operated roll-up double shadening sail that combines the austere shape of a cube with the extremely free and dynamic shape of a sail – the result is a product that perfectly matches any type of architecture, without spoiling the harmony of the spaces. The real challenge is to adapt a sail usually made for the sea winds to buildings, facades that are heterogeneous in style.
