The Diagon swivel chair's hallmark is its aluminium backrest support. While it appears at first glance to be a decorative design feature, it does in fact serve different functional purposes. The support has two lateral pendulum joints with rubber cushions onto which the backrest of the Diagon is flexibly mounted. This construction offers the advantage of dynamic sitting: The pendulum joints ensure that the reclining movement is in perfect sync with the user's body and they widen the opening angle of the seat and back.
