Le testate possono essere fisse con il poggiatesta in legno perlinato, regolabili con il poggiatesta in tessuto di giunco o imbottite con un rivestimento in tessuto o in pelle completamente sfoderabile. Un meccanismo permette la regolazione della testata/ poggiatesta. La struttura del baldacchino è in metallo verniciato opaco. Il rivestimento per il baldacchino è in lino o seta. Claudiano tavolino/comodino è disponibile solo per le versioni con la testata; la struttura è in ottone verniciato opaco, dotata di una cerniera che ne permette la rotazione. Il piano superiore è in cristallo acidato ed il piano inferiore è in legno di faggio lucidato. L’altezza totale del letto a baldacchino è di cm 215. Claudiano Tisch/Nachtschränkchen nur bei der Ausführung mit Kopfteil verfügbar. Das Gestell ist aus matt lackiertem Messing mit Scharniere, die das Drehen ermöglichen. Die Platte ist aus geätztem Glas und die untere Fläche ist aus gebeiztem Buchenholz. Die Gesamthöhe des Bettes mit Baldachin ist 215 cm. CLAUDIANO|Massimo Scolari 1995 Per il letto Icaro (1989) avevo pensato a un letto “classico”, che si compra una volta per tutte quando si decide di trasformare una house in una home, il letto della vita. Ma forse non era un’idea consona alla superficilità del nostro tempo... Carlo Giorgetti me lo ha fatto gentilmente notare, e mi ha suggerito di ripensare il tema del letto come una visione meno intransigente. Così è nato Claudiano: un oggetto semplice ma non semplicistico; un’idea laconica, ma stilisticamente riconoscibile. For the Icaro bed I had thought of a “classical” bed that one buys once...
