Thin MDF InfiniCor® Thin MDF is an unsanded, smooth two side (S2S) thin MDF product manufactured by Georgia-Pacific Wood Products LLC (GP). It is produced to exacting thickness tolerance standards (+/- 0.008”) and has a light golden brown color as a result of our 100 percent pine composition. The finished color helps reduce the costs of wet finishing and makes for an attractive raw substrate. InfiniCor Thin MDF is produced using 100 percent post-industrial recycled or recovered pine fibers supplied by local mills, and has been awarded the Composite Panel Association’s coveted Eco-Certified Composite™ (ECC) designation as a result of its recycled and recovered fiber composition. Formaldehyde emissions for InfiniCor Thin MDF meet CARB Phase 2 standards1. Products Produced GP produces a wide range of InfiniCor Thin MDF products to meet the most demanding industrial applications. When enhanced physical properties are required, InfiniCor High Internal Bond (HIB) or InfiniCor Veneer Laminating Grade (VLG) are excellent choices. (Refer to the table below for a comparison of the physical/mechanical properties of each of these products.) Veneer Laminating Grade (VLG) Value Added Products GP also produces striking designer wall coverings that can be produced with either a wet or paper finish available in all the latest groove patterns in smooth or perforated panels. Dimensions Offered InfiniCor Thin MDF is available in standard as well as metric equivalent thicknesses that range from a nominal thickness of 1/10( to a maximum nominal thickness of 1/4(. Widths ranging from 46.5( to 50( and lengths ranging from 72( to 145( are available. Transportation GP’s Monticello, GA mill offers flatbed and enclosed box trucks, rail service (boxcar, all door and flatcars) and is capable of loading containers for shipments overseas. Monticello is located 205 miles from the port of Savannah for easy access to overseas markets.
