And because wood is an excellent insulator, HeartWood mats help moderate pen temperature and allow the pigs to stay more comfortable whether it's hot or cold outside. HeartWood compostable pen mats are lightweight, easy to install and easy to replace. The single-use mats save production time because unlike rubber mats, there's no need to disinfect and store between cycles. HeartWood mats are available in two standard sizes - 48" X 66" and 48" x 96". Custom sizes are also available to match your production needs. We use trees, a renewable natural resource, to manufacture HeartWood pen mats.
