Instrucciones de instalación, operación y mantenimiento del rociador de emergencia Gw12.04.03.05 – Gw12.04.04.05. Lea estas instrucciones atentamente e instruya al personal responsable del uso. INTRODUCCIÓN Los rociadores y lavaojos de emergencia se diseñan según las indicaciones de la normativa UNI 9608/93 y se utilizan para lavar rápidamente a los operadores contaminados por sustancias peligrosas para la salud para retirarlas lo más rápido posible del cuerpo. • El rociador de emergencia rosa (con forma de hongo) debe instalarse con el eje vertical y a una distancia de 2.200±100 mm del nivel del suelo. • El eje del cono del líquido de lavado debe encontrarse a una distancia mínima de 400 mm del obstáculo más próximo. IMPORTANTE: Puesto que los rociadores no incorporan drenaje, debe existir una zona adecuada para transportar y recoger el agua, esperándose, cuando se requiera, la realización de tratamiento especial para evitar la contaminación del medio ambiente. 1. Fije la base premontada “A” al suelo con anclajes atornillados. 2. Enrosque el tubo “B”...

5. Coloque la junta “H” en la base premontada “A” y conecte el lavabo lavaojos premontado “I”. 6. Conecte el lavabo lavaojos con el tubo cromado “L”.

MANTENIMIENTO Debe ponerse en práctica un plan de inspección regular para cada unidad. La inspección debe ser realizada por personal cualificado que examinará el estado de los equipos y sus componentes. Se recomienda aplicar las siguientes pruebas de funcionamiento: • Active el dispositivo para verificar que funciona correctamente y que el suministro de agua está presente. • Compruebe que el chorro de agua es uniforme y está bien ventilado (lavaojos); de lo contrario, desmonte los componentes y lávelos con agua corriente. • Si encuentra piezas dañadas o averiadas, reemplácelas con piezas originales....
