TECHNICAL DATASHEET GW11 27 04 01 Removable folding bar 800 mm brushed finish AISI 304 Stainless Steel TECHNICAL DATASHEET Vertical rotating folding bar made of AISI 304 stainless Steel brushed finish, easy to remove. It includes a metal box that covers and conceals the wall mounted plate and screws already fixed in case it is temporarily removed. COMPONENTS AND MATERIALS The whole assembly consists of the main bar, a drawer or base, the lateral brackets that secure and allow the bar to rotate, an internal spring that makes the bar return to its rest vertical position, two M8 Allen head screws (to fix the assembly to the mounting plate) and a plastic bumper at the rear end of the bar. The Φ32.5 mm diameter bar is made of AISI 304 Stainless Steel brushed finish material and is 800 mm long. It has a forked shape consisting of a double welded arm giving greater strength to the grab bar. The final section of the bar includes a short part of the same diameter and welded perpendicularly that acts as a half-shaft allowing the bar rotates. Two 60x60 mm stainless steel brackets located at each end of the half-shaft allow rotation of the assembly. The brackets are fixed to the rear box with 4 screws. Finally, the 100x220 mm and 3.5 mm thick stainless steel box with the same finish allow the bar assembly to be fixed to the rear base already installed on the wall. The 180 x 90 mm rear base with 6 wall fixing points is made of Zn alloy. ARCHITECTURAL SPECIFICATION GENWEC folding grab bar made of AISI 304 Stainless Steel, brushed finish with Φ32.5 mm diameter and L = 800 mm length. When it is in use the bar remains in horizontal position but applying a slight movement it returns to its resting vertical position. The replacement or removal of the whole bar ensemble, is very easy to do, leaving just the mounting base fixed on the wall. In this case, a metal cover which is supplied can be easily assembled so the base screws can be hidden. When properly installed, the ‘Genwec’ GW11 27 04 01 folding bar is able to support a 150 Kg load.
