Star Favorit and Star Favorit Superfront
FunderMax produces melamine-faced chipboards and MDF boards under the brands Star Favorit and Star Favorit Superfront. These products are manufactured in compliance with EN 14322:2017, with specific deviations in thickness tolerance for certain products.
- Thickness Tolerance: Varies based on surface texture and board substrate. For example, standard chipboard P2, P3, P5, B1, and MDF have a tolerance of ± 0.5 mm for thicknesses 8 to 20 mm, and +0.5/-1.0 mm for thicknesses over 20 mm.
- Surface Textures: Includes all except SG, HG, real metal, and PM, with specific tolerances for each.
According to EN 13501-1, the fire classification varies based on board substrate and end-use conditions:
- Chipboard P2, P3, P5, and MDF with a maximum thickness of 22 mm and an open air gap behind the panel are classified as D-s2, d0.
- Chipboard B1 with no air gap is classified as B-s1, d0 for thicknesses 12 to 38 mm.
