Press release Paris, 22 January 2016 FUNCTIONALS PRESENTS LEATHER LOUNGE CHAIR AND FOOTREST Miller Lounge chair and Ottoman: ‘stretch out in luxury’ Functionals kicked off the international design fair Maison & Objet in Paris today with the presentation of two new members of the Functionals family. Meet the Millers: Miller Lounge chair and matching footrest Miller Ottoman. Serener, designer of Functionals’ bestsellers Lloyd Table and Wendela Chair, is responsible for the design of the new chair and footrest. The Miller Lounge Chair and Miller Ottoman are available from the end of February via Functionals.eu and the network of selected resellers. The Miller Lounge chair is made of sumptuous leather that will only get more beautiful as it ages. It is also exceptionally comfortable, with plenty of lower back support. The frame and base are made of reflexive 18 mm steel, while a layer of wood under the seat provides ‘shock absorption’. For ultimate relaxation, Serener, alias Christoph Seyferth, also designed a matching footrest: Miller Ottoman. Put the two together and stretch out in luxury.
