The Space™ series is designed by the German design duo Jehs+Laub. The duo is inspired by the human body and nature’s ability to design itself. Their ambition is always to make things that are straightforward and not too labored. The Space series is designed from the idea of the comfortable feeling of sitting in a hand. The lines of the design resemble the paths, the roads and the fields of a landscape.

jehs+laub Jürgen Laub (b.1964) + Markus Jehs (b.1965) are both industrial designers from the Schwabisch Gmund University in 1992. They established the studio Jehs+Laub in 1994, and over the past couple of years they have designed furniture for Cassina, Renz, Thonet, Acerbis and lamps for Nemo and Belux. They have also designed the new showroom concept for Mercedes Benz, which has been implemented globally. Space™ table DESIGN Environment & tests Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub, 2007. The table can be completely disassembled into parts to be recycled or incinerated. The table is tested according to EN 1730: strength, durability and stability, level 4 according to DS/INF 131. Lounge table designed by Jehs+Laub, manufactured by Fritz Hansen.
