16 SHELL COLOURS 16 new shell colours are available for lacquered and coloured ash shells for Ant™, Series 7™ and Grand Prix™ models. Each colour complements the natural materials of the chairs as well as all the other colours within the palette, making it easy to use several colours within a single space. GRAND PRIX™ Arne Jacobsen, 1957 The Grand Prix™ Chair is a chair with graphic edge. It was introduced at the Designers’ Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in 1957. Later that year, the chair was displayed at the Triennale in Milan where it received the Grand Prix, the finest distinction of the exhibition. The celebrated chair comes in both a steel or wood base.
