The seat is crafted from individual leather pieces joined by a distinctive double seam, giving the barstool its characteristic saddle appearance. The combination of lively material texture and artisanal craftsmanship imparts a special charm, creating a warm atmosphere suitable for classic hotel bars, urban clubs, or modern homes.

Designers

Kya was designed by Eva Paster (b. 1971) and Michael Geldmacher (b. 1968), who met during their industrial design studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. They founded their own design studio in 1999. Their clientele includes notable companies such as Interlübke, Kristalia, MDF Italia, Magazin, and Nils Holger Moormann.
