jana With Jana, designer Birgit Hoffmann has created a piece of seating furniture that has the potential to become the everyone’s absolute fa ourite chair – fast. Just looking at it is enough to see how comv fortable it is to sit in (how tempting it is to spend longer in it than planned…). That’s partly to do with the strong character of the solid timber frame and the visible craftsmanship on the arm rests, but the comfortable upholstery on the seat and back – available in a range of different cover fabrics – also plays a role. Jana can be combined with any number of tables, but also looks great in any room as a standalone piece. birgit hoffmann After completing her apprenticeship as a ceramicist, Birgit Hoffmann studied industrial design in Kiel and worked amongst other companies for Studio & Partners in Mailand and Peter Maly Design in Hamburg. In 2006 she founded her own agency. Press: Deike Bokelmann, Tel: +49 (0)40 – 87 09 77 70, Mail: deike@freifrau.eu . Schanzenstraße 75,
