This spring Fredericia presents a range of new chairs, side tables and various line extensions - all designed to create casual workspaces and lounge areas meeting the needs of striving creative minds. Whether you think of modern corporate headquarters, hotels, restaurants or private homes, they all have one thing in common - an eclectic interior reflecting a fusion of office, living and lounge spaces that inspires and excites.

Acme is a bold and schematic design of a multi-purpose shell chair. Composed of a perfect square and circle, Acme excels a clean-cut expression fused with careful detailing, offering a comfortable sitting experience. Unique leg designs harmonizing with the shells make each model an original. The consequent design gives a vibrant nudge to any interior. Acme is a usable design statement for both public spaces and eclectic home interior designs.

DESIGNERSGECKELER MICHELS Geckeler Michels is a Berlin-based design duo formed by David Geckeler and Frank Michels. A mix of German design traditions and Berlin playfulness inspires their innovative design, which becomes self-evident in the graphical shapes of Acme and Verve.

The stringent graphical expression of the stool leaves no space for redundant parts. Every single piece fulfills a function - a design approach very similar to how Borge Mogensen created his furniture half a century ago. An example of this methodology are the multiple footrests of the stool placed in various positions. These allow people of different heights to sit comfortably while at the same time adding strength, stability and finally a distinct shape to the products.

DESIGNERAURELIEN BARBRY Aurelien Barbry is a French designer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He started his career by working with the famous architect Jean Nouvel before setting up his own studio in 2007. Aurelien Barbry moves objects towards simplicity and obviousness of the form, while creating a distinct visual language that becomes a dialogue with the end user.

By combining steel frames of identical size, the design concept of the stool is continued to create bases for sides tables of different heights. Each side table is assembled of three steel frames capped by a tabletop in solid oak, making it strong enough for both residential and public use. The kinship between stool and side tables enables the creation of a coherent interior design across different areas - from bar to lounge - as seen in modern restaurant and lobby concepts.
