HEXDALLE® XE TILES - 1

PRODUCT DATA SHEET – HEXDALLE® XE TILES I. CHARACTERISTICS The tiles are made of recycled black rubber aggregate which has been sorted and graded, bound by volume-dyed polyurethane elastomer resin. As a result of the composition, expansion in heat and shrinking in the cold are quite normal. Other processed chemical elements are used in the composition of our tiles to give them their solidity and elasticity. Our glues and our bevelled edging must be used around the edge. II. COLOURS Brick red – Green – Black – Grey During storage, make sure the tiles are not partially exposed to UV rays as this will affect the colour. If the colour of the tiles is not exactly uniform, simply wait a few weeks for the colour to even out. A colour loss can occur without altering the characteristics of the tile. Green is more sensitive to UV rays than red. A special PU 63 or PA 63 non-slip paint can be applied by airless spraying by a specialist to renovate the appearance of HEXDALLE® tiles that have faded with time. III. DIMENSIONS Tiles of 500 x 500mm. Thicknesses: 10 – 25 – 35 – 45 – 55 – 65 – 75 – 90 mm. Microporous tiles with water drainage system integrated under the tile (except for the 10-mm model). IV. USE Public parks, retirement homes, play areas, centres for the handicapped, etc., for outdoor use. The thickness of the tile will be chosen according to the Free Fall Distance (FFD) (Refer to the Thickness/Free Fall Distance look-up table) H.I.C. = Head Injury Criterion as per standard NF EN 1177. The free fall distance is measured from the highest point of the play equipment for reasonably foreseeable use (cf. the technical data sheet of the play equipment manufacturer). V. MAINTENANCE In accordance with the Official Gazette of France of 26.12.1996, operators or managers must draw up a maintenance plan to check the state of the tiles. This inspection can be done annually or more frequently depending on how intensively the play area is used and the climatic conditions – Cleaning, Check of the H.I.C and the state of the shock-absorbing covering. Tiles should be replaced if necessary. They can be purchased individually. HEXDALLE® tiles are designed to keep maintenance costs low. They can be simply washed (maximum 3 Bars) or swept with a soft brush. You can also use our bactericidal cleaning product: Cleandalle FC. Allow 72 hours after sticking before cleaning for the first time. Never use a solvent to clean the tiles. HEXDALLE® XE tiles are flexible, sound-proof, non-slip, rot-proof and hygienic. They are also pleasant in shape and colour. VI. ADVANTAGES HEXDALLE® tiles absorb shock and thus improve safety by reducing the risk of injury: Non-slip, Models, drawings and names are registered. Prior to laying, unpack the tiles onto a flat surface so that they recover their characteristics. VIII. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS 11 series of tests of 4 drops have been performed so as to obtain H.I.C values in the region of 1,000 at each point. By definition, the H.I.C height is the lowest of the 11 fall distances thus found. These tests are performed by an accredited laboratory. THICKNESS Free fall height...
